deceitfully what we never intend to do”, but when God speaks, His words are promises. They
are 100% bona fide truth, guaranteed to be free of the contaminants (ie. lying, flattery, deceit,
pride) that corrupt the wicked and their words. So Psalm 12 is not only about the word of God,
but its also about the God who keeps His word. This why we can have unquestionable confidence in God and His promises.
