Agape Night:
Join us this Wednesday for our next Agape Night! These monthly Wednesday evening gatherings are a time for God’s people to be together to fellowship, eat, worship, pray, and study the Word. Our hope is that Agape Nights will lead our church family further into a deeper love for the Lord.

The Grille will be open for dinner from 5pm to 6pm with worship starting at 6:15pm in the Main Sanctuary. Calvary Kids Club will be learning about a different attribute of God each month!

Come early and stay late to hang out with old and new friends. Visit our website to get more information. Hope to see you this Wednesday.

Baptism
Before Jesus ascended to heaven after His resurrection, He told his followers to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19). Every believer should seek to be water baptized as a necessary step in their discipleship to Jesus. Because water baptisms are such an important part of a believer's walk of faith, we offer the opportunity for everyone to be baptized. We will be offering baptisms the last Sunday of every other month, starting this month. Baptisms will be held after the 11am service on the patio in front of Sanctuary 2. If you have not been baptized and would like to make this public declaration, sign up today on our website.

Missions Sunday:
Next Sunday is our 4th annual Missions & Outreach Sunday. We get to spend an entire Sunday rejoicing in the work God did in our community and world through your giving to missions and outreach in 2022. We'll also have a dozen local outreach ministries and missions opportunities to engage with on the patio after service. Our community needs the presence and service of believers in it, and these organizations are a great way for you to get involved in sharing Jesus with those around you. Finally, we are thrilled to welcome career missionary and pastor of Calvary San Diego, Phil Metzger, as our teacher for Missions & Outreach Sunday. He served as a missionary for two decades in Hungary as the pastor of Calvary Chapel Budapest as well as the ministry director of Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe. In addition to leading Calvary San Diego, Phil oversees Calvary church plants throughout Eastern Europe, Ethiopia, and Nigeria. Be sure to be here next week and discover your role in God's story.
