Growth Night:
Do you feel like you could use some refreshment and time to leave your cares at Jesus' feet and focus on worshiping him? Then join us tonight at 5:30pm for our August Growth Night! Men and women will stay together in the Main Sanctuary as Pastor Riley and his team lead us in a Night of Worship. Calvary Kids Club will be available for children 1-year-old to 5th grade, and our Middle School Students will meet in the Youth Room. Dinner will be available for purchase on the patio from 4:30pm to 5:25pm, with worship starting at 5:30pm. This month the Grille will be serving tacos for dinner. As always, there will be games before and free dessert after. Register your children today for the Calvary Kids Club and find out more information on our website. Hope to see you tonight!
Prayer Night:
Our next Prayer Night will be Sunday, August 21st, at 6pm. All throughout church history, we see that God’s power is released into the world through prayer. People are transformed and Jesus becomes more famous in our lives because of God’s purposes being fulfilled through the faithful requests of His people. Prayer is often spoken of as the "least we can do," but in God's reality, it's the MOST important thing we can do! Let’s gather and pray together to seek a churchwide pursuit toward our powerful God for a powerful future. We hope you will join us as we spend the evening praying for our church family and our community. The purpose of this time is to simply gather and pray, therefore there will be no worship or teaching, the Grille will be closed, and we will not be offering Calvary Kids. This will be a powerful time seeking the Lord together as a group of believers. We hope you will join us!
Parenting Conference:
Parenting is hard, but we often make it much harder if we don’t follow biblical principles that the Lord has given us. Our hope is that the Lord would use this time to equip and encourage parents in their God-given task of raising the next generation of Jesus followers! Join us Friday evening, August 26th & Saturday morning, August 27th for our Intentional Parents Conference! For our main sessions, we will watch the Intentional Parents film series presented by Phil and Diane Comer, followed by live Q&A times with some of our pastors and their wives. We will have two tracks during the conference: one for parents of infants through elementary age kids, and another for parents of teens through emerging adulthood. Free childcare will be provided for 1 year old to 5th graders if you register them. The cost is $10 per adult, which includes dessert on Friday night, continental breakfast, and lunch on Saturday.
