Intro To Calvary:
If you are new or would like to learn more about Calvary Monterey, we would love to invite you to join us for an "Intro to Calvary" meeting next Sunday, August 7th during the 12pm service in Sanctuary 2. Intro to Calvary is a time for you to meet a few of our pastors and staff members, hear the history of Calvary Monterey, learn about our beliefs, and ask questions. Young Adults Gathering:
Our next Young Adults Gathering is Sunday, August 14th, at 6pm in the Grille. If you are between the ages of 18 and 29, we would love to have you join us for an evening of hanging out, dinner, worship, and a special teaching by one of our pastors. We will be meeting at 6pm in the Grille. Our hope is that young adults will come together, meet new friends, and grow in their faith together. Visit our website for more information.
Parenting Conference:
We are excited to announce that we will be having a two-day parenting conference called “Intentional Parents”! Join us Friday evening, August 26th & Saturday morning, August 27th. We love this next generation and that is why we want to come alongside you, parents, as you raise sons and daughters who love God with all their heart and who will follow Jesus all the days of their life. For our main sessions, we will be watching the Intentional Parents film series presented by Phil and Diane Comer, followed by Q&A times with some of our pastors and their wives. We will have two tracks during the conference: one for parents of pre-school through elementary age kids, and another for parents of teens into the adult years. Childcare will be provided for free if you pre-register, for children 1 year old to 5th grade. The cost is $10 per person, which will include dessert on Friday night, continental breakfast, and lunch on Saturday. Visit our website for more information and to register. Life Groups:
Life Groups are a practical and profound way for us as a church to
grow in our faith. As we meet weekly to discuss scripture, pray and fellowship
with one another, we quite simply see God move us and shape us into the people
He wants us to be. We are praying now for new Life Group Leaders or Hosts who
have the heart to help others grow in their faith. Some future leaders and
hosts are ready to jump in and start leading or hosting right away. For others,
you may be interested in joining the Leadership Life Group. The Leadership Life
Group is one that gathers as a traditional Life Group but with additional
leadership development components. The Leadership Life Group is a great next
step for anyone considering a deeper commitment to serving God in the Life
