Mid-Quarter Life Group:
It can be a leap of faith to meet new people and join a Life Group. We can't promise that your Life Group experience will be perfect or meet all your expectations. But we can say that we hear positive, powerful testimonies quarter after quarter. The Mid Quarter Life Group is a great way to learn about God and get to know other believers who are looking for community in our church. The Mid-Quarter life group will begin meeting next Tuesday at 6pm in Calvary Kids. Registration for this group is now open, so sign up online today or visit the Welcome Center for more details! Childcare is provided for families who register in advance.
Easter Weekend:
Easter weekend is around the corner, and we looking forward to this time together as a church family.
We will have two onsite service options on Good Friday April 7th, at 6pm or 7:30pm. Both services will be indoors with an outdoor seating option available. We will spend the evening worshiping, reflecting, and partaking in communion together. Calvary Kids will be offering a service for children 1-year-old to 5th grade during the 6pm service only and will be sharing the story of Jesus’ death in an age-appropriate way. The Grille will be open for a special dinner buffet from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. There will be a great menu adults and kids, along with desserts and beverages.
On Easter Sunday, April 9th, we will be offering two outdoor services, on the lawn *weather permitting* at 9am and 11am. Calvary Kids will be available for both services and have planned lots of fun activities and treats, including an egg hunt during the service! The Grille will be open for a wonderful Easter Brunch buffet from 8:30am to 1pm and will have lots of sweet and savory options. So invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join you for this special weekend. See you then!
Thailand Missions Fundraiser Dinner:
Thank you so much for all your support you've already shown to our students heading to Thailand this summer to serve with our missionary, David Joannes (Joe-ANN-iss) and his missions organization, Within Reach Global. We're excited to share we're having a Fundraising Dinner on the evening of Friday, April 14th. The Bridge Culinary program will be preparing a delicious Thai-themed dinner, and our team members will be running the event. We'll have a few fun activities, a great silent auction, and students will be sharing their testimonies and reasons for going on this trip throughout the evening. If you can't come for the whole event, you can still buy a ticket and come pick up dinner to-go. Who doesn't love Thai food takeout?! Tickets are $25 per person, or you can get a 4-pack for $85. This is a beautiful opportunity to get to know YOUR Thailand Missions Team better. We can't go unless we have your support, so please, stop by and enjoy dinner with us. We love you, church!
VBS Volunteers Needed:
This June, Calvary Kids will be hosting a 2-day Vacation Bible School for the families of our church. Now, it might seem a little crazy to be talking about the summer in March, but the truth is that to put on a great VBS, we’ve got to get started now! The Calvary Kids team is looking for people who have a heart to help the next generation grow in their love for God and make some awesome memories at church. We need over 60 volunteers to do a wide variety of jobs before, during, and after the event.
