Life Groups:
Trying something new can be intimidating, meeting new people may be uncomfortable at first, and being open or vulnerable with others can be a challenge. But, as we trust in God, He shows us the good things that come from taking these risks! As our Father, He cherishes the opportunity to do a new work in and through us. And these are the kinds of things we see within our Life Groups. We are blessed when we choose to follow God alongside those in our Life Group. We connect with each other on the things that matter most. We support each other through good and bad seasons. And we grow together, making every effort to spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
It is our hope that everyone at Calvary can be blessed by joining a Life Group. Sign-ups start next Sunday, February 5th! You can learn more by checking out details on our website.
Women’s Gathering:
Ladies, join us this Saturday, February 18th, for our Women’s Gathering. We love these opportunities for the women of our church to connect with one another and be encouraged in their love for Jesus.
This is a free event with an optional breakfast available for $7. Breakfast and check-in will begin at 9am with worship starting at 10am in the Main Sanctuary, with an outside viewing option available for those who would prefer sitting outside. Did you know that Calvary Monterey has a specific phone number you can text at any time, and that our church uses to communicate with all of you? The same number is used by all our ministries to communicate to different volunteer teams, individuals, and to share important information and updates regarding services or events. Some of our favorite keywords you can text to get connected include "Welcome" for Newcomers, "JFY" for youth and parents, and "News" to sign up for the weekly Connection newsletter.
You can even just text any question about the church or our ministries to the number and a real live staff member will answer during church office hours.
